ACQUISITION OF RTS GROUP
The Robson Taylor Selection (RTS) Group has today announced that it has been acquired by a team including existing Joint Managing Directors Kevin Buller and Mike Gallagher, as well as Andrew Scholefield and Greg Tate (Manchester based private investors).
Robson Taylor Selection is a market leading specialist recruiter of sales and pre /post sales personnel within the IT and telecommunications sectors. Established in 1997, its UK network has offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Hemel Hempstead, Manchester and Scotland. It has a broad blue chip client base which includes Computer Associates, BT Group, Cable & Wireless, Sun Microsystems, Siemens and Hewlett Packard.
Andrew Scholefield will chair the Group and Greg Tate will join the board. The board will also be enhanced by the addition of Iain Johnston and Kevin Philbin. The future growth of RTS will be both organic, including the launch of new industry specialist practices and by acquisitions of businesses and teams.

HBOS (Richard Faulkner) provided acquistion finance facilities in connection with the acquisition. Advisers to the acquirers were @visory partners (corporate finance), Wacks Caller (legal), Baker Tilly (financial due diligence and tax) and George Davies (legal / HBOS). Advisers to the sellers were Ford Campbell (corporate finance) and Halliwells (legal).
